spice^TM is looking for a Senior Technology Product Manager (Manhattan SCALE WMS).  Reporting to the Product Leader, this individual will be responsible for developing and supporting the technology product roadmap for Manhattan SCALE application, from market & competitive awareness through strategy development, business case and execution.  As part of this responsibility the Senior Technology Product Manager will lead a cross functional team of direct and indirect reports (including both technical and commercial members) to deliver Manhattan SCALE product portfolio through the full product life cycle, and will play an instrumental leadership role in optimizing our WMS capabilities for eCommerce solutions.

They will also lead the SCALE Centre of Excellence (CoE) governance process, in partnership with IT. A key business partner to our Growth, Solutions, Implementations and Contract Logistics teams, the Senior Technology Product Manager will leverage their knowledge and understanding of best practices in WMS solutions to improve operational efficiencies and increase operating margin.  They will also work closely with our shared services teams, as well as other Product teams, to find ongoing optimization and channel solution opportunities in support of eCommerce strategy.

• You have a keen understanding of the Customer and User experience, and what drives the eCommerce, omnichannel and channel-less end-Consumers.

• You are a trusted partner supporting the Growth, Solutions, IT and overall Product teams through the build and deployment of new capabilities
• You are an expert at technology solution delivery, ensuring that product releases and projects are delivered on scope, on time, on budget and on quality.
• You lead or participate in other Product area Development initiatives related to SCALE and SCALE’s integration to portfolio of applications (TMS, Business Intelligence / Visibility, etc.)
• You are adept at coaching and change management, and working closely with operational and technical teams to advance new ways of working.
• You will ensure efficient executive reporting related to project milestones, budget and key deliverables
• Develop & maintain relationships with Governance Committee, Vendors and other teams to maintain and support the application.
• Build and maintain operating standards for SCALE application, focusing on efficiencies and execution speed (support, implementation methods, etc.)
• Partner with other functions to support the ongoing maintenance and updates to the SCALE templates, ensuring templates represent best practice use of the SCALE functionality to support turnkey client onboard and efficient ongoing operations

What you bring to the role:

• 10+ years of warehouse management system (WMS) implementation experience with a tier-one WMS in an RF based distribution or eCommerce fulfillment environment. Manhattan SCALE WMS experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a Product Management or Product Development is strongly preferred at least at a Senior Manager level.
• Experience working in or directly working with a 3PL is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in defining and implementing WMS best practices in eCommerce is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years experience in managing technology Product roadmaps
• Experience in writing SQLs and Stored Procedures to support data management, together with strong knowledge of SQL Server is preferred
• Experience in interface mapping (XML, EDI, JSON, csv) and working through different integration models to support mapping, development, testing and deployment (API, AS2, FTP)
• Experience using any of Manhattan’s complimentary products and Manhattan’s Integration Framework (MIF) is a plus, but not required
• Bachelor degree in Product, Supply Chain or a related discipline is preferred
• Experience in Retail, Healthcare or Consumer technology an asset
• Experience in Retail Operations an asset
• Experience with other core supply chain systems – Order Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems- is strongly preferred.
• You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
• Project Management Professional (or similar) certification is an asset.
• Agile (Scrum) certification is an asset.
