Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV development.

In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy customized NAV solutions, integrate with third-party systems, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide ongoing support. You will also mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Develop: Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to build high-performance, secure, and reliable Dynamics NAV solutions.
• Customize & Enhance: Modify NAV objects and create new features, modules, and integrations to meet evolving business needs.
• Integrate & Migrate: Lead system integrations using APIs, web services, and middleware tools. Drive data migration projects to Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable NAV C/AL or AL code. Conduct code reviews and unit testing to uphold standards.
• Collaborate & Mentor: Work across the full software lifecycle. Partner with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
• Document & Standardize: Maintain clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and API specs. Support best practices and reusable templates across projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (C/AL or AL development), with at least 5 years in Dynamics NAV 2016 C/AL.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics NAV core components, modules, and architecture.
• Proficient in SQL Server, NAV multi-company database structures, reporting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with C/SIDE NAV development environment, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code.
• Solid experience in system integrations, API development, and data migration projects.

Contract Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Ontario, Canada (remote work possible)
