Business Analyst, Replenishment (12-Month Contract)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst (Replenishment) to support one of Canada’s largest retailers on a one-year maternity leave contract. This role involves producing scheduled and ad hoc reports, analyzing replenishment and sales performance, and supporting process and system enhancements. You will collaborate with teams across the organization, work closely with SAP analysts on solution development, and contribute to continuous improvement in reporting and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain reports to monitor inventory, product flow, and sales performance

  • Conduct analysis and provide insights based on forecasts and historical data

  • Document business requirements and support SAP/FileMaker development and testing

  • Identify process and reporting improvement opportunities

  • Keep process documentation updated and accessible

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment in replenishment activities

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant analytical role (retail/product environment is an asset)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Knowledge of SAP or Alteryx is considered an asset
