The MM Functional Analyst will be responsible for the portfolio of SAP MM applications, transactions, and jobs and will be a critical part of the development, optimization and support of the business processes related to replenishment, forecasts, purchasing and master data SAP operation. The candidate will be actively involved in project, enhancement and support tasks related to the module’s business requirements; the incumbent will take part throughout the project and requirements life cycle (analysis, configuration, tests, implementation, and support) to implement the dynamic business needs.

What success looks like:

• Collect, analyze, and document business needs.
• Analyze existing applications and document them.
• Propose and recommend value-added solutions to meet user needs.
  Configure the MM module and design new transactions/tables/jobs.
• Design and manage the interactions with the rest of the modules.
• Write the functional specifications and work with the ABAP developers for the execution.
• Execute and document unit and acceptance tests.
• Prepare users and train them.
  Determine and participate in the deployment strategy; and
• Provide post-implementation support.
• Maintain solid relationships with external vendors.
• Lead and participate in all cybersecurity efforts and initiatives.

What you bring to the role:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in implementation and/or support as a functional analyst related to MM.
• University education in accounting, finance, or electronic/computer science/data management.
• Work experience in supply chain management for retail (an asset).
• In-depth knowledge of SAP, especially the MM module with technical knowledge and custom developments.
• Knowledge of other SAP modules such as FICO, SD, and PI; F&R and EWM are an asset.
• Ability and willingness to read and learn ABAP code (for debug mainly).
• Experience in ABAP programming (major asset).
• Good understanding of the integration process of SAP modules.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Language: Bilingual (Spanish and English) is essential.
