The ABAP Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining new features across the SAP Landscape with any integrations or scheduling that may be required. The incumbent works under the supervision of the Dev and Support Manager and in collaboration with the functional analysts of the various modules MM, SD, FICO, EWM, etc. It also plays critical part in debugging and resolving incidents that may affect operation with the defined priority. Different module dev experience is key, but efficiency in programming is also very important.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new applications.
• Participate in the improvement of existing applications and ensure their maintenance.
• Collaborate with the QA team on test automation.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Apply and keep the change management methodology.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ABAP programming.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Fiori development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Good command of programming concepts.

  • Smartform Forms, Adobe
  • Report (Selection Screen, Complex ALV)
  • Extension (BADI, Userexit, BTE Enhancement)
  • Interfaces (IDOC, BAPI, WebServices, Proxy)
• Experience with database systems.
• Experience with different dev methodologies and platforms
• Knowledge of web application development.
• Knowledge of transactional applications.
• PIPO experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or ORACLE is an asset.
• Good knowledge of office automation tools and ERP.
• Bilingualism (English and Spanish) is essential, both oral and written.
